Biography

Zzitai (Pronounced Zeh-Thai) is one of the veterans of the Chinese League of Legends scene, with competitive experience dating back to 2011. He first debuted his career as a mid-laner with TM.Origin and briefly joined AgFox. However, what really brought Zzitai to fame was when he joined team Invictus Gaming, whom he has been on since 2012. With iG in season 2, the team was able to place 1st in many notable events, such as the Demacia Cup Season 1 and the S2 Regional Finals Shanghai. Following a reasonable 5th-8th place finish in the Season 2 World Championship, Zzitai earned a spot by fans as one of China's mid-lane trinity, along with World Elite's Misaya, and Royal Club's Wh1t3zZ throughout season 3. Although Invictus Gaming did not qualify for Worlds in Season 3, their team still stayed competitive throughout the LPL. Season 4 was a disappointing season for Invictus Gaming, as they were plagued with the retirement of XiaoXiao and PDD, as they finished 5th in China's regional qualifiers, losing 1-2 to LGD Gaming. Season 5 brought a new era to Zzitai as he moved to the top lane for Invictus Gaming to bring in Korean talents and teammates KaKAO and RooKie from KT Rolster Arrows. The team finished 3rd consistently, and eventually ended up finishing 3rd in the 2015 LPL Regional Qualifiers. However, the team had a disappointing performance at the 2015 World Championship, finishing last in their group (even though they were predicted to get out of groups). Zzitai remained with iG to complete in the LPL 2016 spring split.

In both splits of 2016, IG would finish 4th in their group. However in both playoffs they would fall in their first match, ending up in 7th-8th place. After the Summer Split, Invictus Gaming attended 2016 NEST and won the event after a 2-0 victory over LGD Gaming. Zzitai would leave Invictus Gaming in December of 2016 in order to join Snake Esports after he switched back to mid lane. This ended Zzitai's four year run with Invictus Gaming.
