Biography

Etienne “Steve” Michels launched his career with ROCCAT during the 2015 EU LCS Summer Preseason, replacing Overpow as their starting top laner. Steve brought several years of amateur experience, but he was still an EU LCS rookie -- and his lack of exposure to the professional scene was punished in the first few weeks of the Summer Split.

Steve rallied in the second half of the season, with his average KDA jumping from 1.9 (weeks 1-5) to 4.4 (weeks 6-10). His confidence in his play, and more importantly his teammates' confidence in his play, was noticeably higher. Steve's improvement led ROCCAT to 3rd place in the 2015 EU LCS Summer Split, and eventually secured him a spot on a new team for the 2016 EU LCS Spring Split -- Elements. We can't wait to see the fan-favorite "Stteeeeevvveeeee" climb even higher.
